Extend the life of your event flowers beyond a single day. By donating your florals after your event, you not only share the joy of flowers with communities in need of a lift but also benefit from a Tax Deduction: When you donate your event flowers to The Flower District, you’ll receive a tax-deductible donation letter to fill out, reflecting the value of the flowers as listed in your floral contract. This applies only to the flowers, excluding labor, design, or delivery costs. Your floral contract serves as proof of value when submitting the donation for tax purposes. By participating, clients contribute to a sustainable floral cycle while receiving a financial benefit for their generosity. At the end of their journey, these flowers are composted, enriching our community’s soil and supporting sustainability.

Event Flower Rescue: How It Works

Our Event Flower Rescue program gives your event flowers a second life:

● We collect flowers after events.

● We refresh them for redistribution or compost them when needed.

● We deliver them to local communities in need.

Your participation in this program strengthens our composting initiatives, diverts organic waste from landfills, and supports fair wages for our team—all while nourishing local green spaces.

Additionally, we clean and return floral containers to florists or organizations in need, fostering a circular economy within the floral industry. Our walk-in commercial refrigerator keeps flowers fresh for redistribution, ensuring the highest quality for recipients. These recycled flowers also create meaningful engagement opportunities for individuals in day programs and community activities, deepening connections between people and their environment.

Our Event Flower Rescue Service Includes

✅On-site flower collection (35 Mile Radius of zip 02909)

✅ Sorting and refreshing of salvageable flowers

✅ Composting of non-usable flowers

✅ Redistribution to community organizations

✅ Cleaning and returning containers to florists or organizations in need

✅ Storage and maintenance of flowers in a commercial walk-in refrigerator

Event Flower Rescue Pricing

Our strike program is currently in its beta phase as we refine our process to best serve the floral industry. As we test and adjust, pricing is subject to change to ensure sustainability and efficiency. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with you during this phase, as your participation and feedback help us build a system that benefits florists, streamlines event breakdowns, and extends the life cycle of flowers in a meaningful way.

● Small Event (0-10 tables, votives, some greenery): $350

● Medium Event (up to 12 tables, 1 installation, votives, greenery): $450

● Medium+ Event (up to 12 tables, 1 installation, with two employees): $550

● Large Event (up to 16 tables, 1-2 installations, votives, greenery, multiple small pieces, pillar candles, hurricanes, or detailed work): Custom Quote

● Extra Large Event (16+ tables, 1-2 installations, votives, greenery, multiple small pieces, pillar candles, hurricanes, or detailed work): Custom Quote

Additional Charges

● Extended Pickup (Beyond 35 Miles): +$1.50 per mile

● Same-Day Pickup (Rush Service): +$75

● Custom Redistribution (Specific Beneficiaries): +$50

● Floral Arrangement Repurposing (For Secondary Event): Custom Quote

● Food Waste Composting (Per 100 people): +$200

Booking & Payment

● Reservations: Please book at least 30 days in advance. $25.00 Deposit due at time of booking. Payment in full required two weeks before event date.
